RAPPER Toya Delazy and her wife, Allison, have welcomed their baby girl into the world.
Toya, real name Latoya Nontokozo Buthelezi who is the granddaughter of IFP founder Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, shared the news on social media, saying both mum and baby were doing well.
She wrote: “Sivukile! My wife just gave birth to the most beautiful baby girl. Both mum and baby are doing well. I have a family. Nganigugisa ke.”
Messages of congratulations quickly started pouring in for the couple, that got married last October.
Facebook user Tulla Eckhart wrote: “Congratulations Toya Delazy and your wife on your bundle of joy! Can’t wait to hear the songs you will write for and with her!”
Patsy Nakell commented: “Ah, baby has arrived! Huge congratulations to the three of you!”
Earlier this month, Toya posted a photo of herself and Allison, sharing that it may be the last of them together.

She wrote: “Happy May! This may be the last photo with just us two in 2022. Have a beautiful new month. We love you!”
Toya and Allison announced their pregnancy in February, thanking the universe for choosing them to be parents.
“And just like that... Guide us, universe, as we walk into this next chapter of our lives. Thank you for choosing us to bring forth this beautiful life force. We know it’s an incredible gift and miracle. I love you my gorgeous @alissonchaig. Doing this with you is one of the most incredible experiences. I couldn’t have chosen a better soul to build umuzi kamama,” she wrote at the time.
A family member, who asked not to be named, also shared that the IFP founder was happy about the news of becoming a great-grandfather.
