Social media content creator and comedian, Kamogelo Molefe, said his inspiration is to see people in a good mood.

GROWING up he always liked to see happy, so he made jokes to put a smile on their faces.

And now Kamogelo Molefe, popularly known as Nathan Molefe, makes Mzansi people die with laughter with his hilarious TikTok skits.

The 25-year-old from Diepkloof in Soweto said he started shooting the videos in 2019.

“It was a hobby and then my fame grew from there,” he said.

Kamogelo is known for his funny skits where he acts as various people.

“My skits are mostly based on storytelling and relatable things that happen to most people,” he said.

He said his biggest aim is to make people happy.

“I just love seeing people happy. From a young age, I'd do silly things just so people could laugh. So, that’s my number one inspiration, to make people happy,” he said.

He said he graduated from varsity in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management, but hasn’t done any work related to his degree.

“I believe I have found my passion, which is content creation,” he said.

He said the love he receives from his supporters is what keeps him going.

“I’ve met many of my supporters thanking me for helping them with depression and other mental health illnesses. So that’s what also pushes me, that I’m doing something for someone,” he said.

Kamogelo said he has always had a passion for acting.

“I did drama therapy back at high school and that’s when I fell in love with acting and playing different roles or characters. I haven’t done it yet on the big screens, but very soon that will be fulfilled,” he said.

He said he believes he was born with his talent.

“I didn’t go to an acting school, so I believe it’s something that’s God given. The drama therapy I attended for a couple of weeks helped polish what I already have,” he said.

He said he knew he was good when his work started being recognised.
