REAL Housewives of Durban cast member Mabusi Seme has said there’s more to the fight between Thobile “MaKhumalo” Mseleku and Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco.

In the latest episode of the Showmax reality show, Mabusi can be seen entertaining LaConco as she continues to bash Makhumalo for keeping them waiting at an event she hosted in last week’s episode.

In an exclusive interview with Daily Sun, Mabusi revealed LaConco and MaKhumalo said: “LaConco explained why there’s a fight between her and MaKhumalo but there is more to it. Unfortunately it is not my place to divulge such information. Something happened between the two of them, way before this show. But in this case I have decided step back and give MaKhumalo a chance. I don’t want to judge her based on what LaConco told me. I’m not going to write her off just because LaConco said things about her,” said Mabusi.

She said she has also met with Makhumalo.

“Again I cannot disclose our interaction. People will have to watch the show. I have advised LaConco to make peace with MaKhumalo because they will be interacting a lot on the show,” said Mabusi.

She insisted that the fights, parties, fun are all real and nothing is scripted.

“This show is real and nothing is scripted. We cannot even fake emotions because we don’t know each other. We are not friends. The fights, parties, laughs are all real,” she said.

However, Mabusi said she has since formed a close relationship with LaConco.

“We met on RHOD and we decided to take our friendship outside the show. We have become very close. We call each other and we even have our dates outside the show. I can also reveal that being part of this show has grown my brand. I’m actually overwhelmed by the way people recognise me on the streets,” said Mabusi.

“Initially, I thought I was only going to be the friend from the show, not anything huge but I guess people and the Showmax team started appreciating my presence and what I am bringing on the show. I guess people became interested in me. They wanted to know more about me,” she explained.

LaConco has made it clear she doesn’t want to speak to the media.

Makhumalo previously hit back at LaConco.

“LaConco’s comments showed she is putting me at a certain standard. She showed I wasn’t worth the wait and the only people she can wait for are Oprah Winfrey or Beyonce. In her eyes, I’m not special,” said Thobile at the time.

“Ever since we started shooting Real Housewives she’s always tried to paint a certain picture about me.

“She’s done it in front of and behind the cameras but I always overlook it,” said Thobile.

“She even tried to persuade other cast members to look at me in a certain way. I think she does this because of the marriage I’m in or because her relationship failed.”

She said they have never done anything together.

“Nothing brings us together. We’re not friends and we don’t call each other,” Thobile said.
