PAPI Khomane maybe gone but the mark he left on the soccer world will not fade any time soon, and his fans are determined to keep his memory alive.
Fan Phillip Jwara said he was sad to hear about Khomane's death.
"Death has robbed us of a great man on and off the pitch. We still wished for many things from him," Philip said.
Philip wore his Orlando Pirates fan gear to pay his last respects to the former Bucs captain.
Another fan, Kenneth "Gunman" Mgiba, said he had known Khomane since he was a little boy.
