SPRING Fiesta is back, so get ready to dance till you drop.
One of the hosts of the main stage, Zane Gulston, told Daily Sun that attendees must not come with clean sneakers because they will have too much fun.
The popular event is celebrating 11 years this year and will be held on 7 October at the Wild Waters Complex in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni.
Musicians such as Uncle Waffles, DBN Gogo, Daliwonga, Young Stunna, KO, Anatii, and Blxckie will perform on the main stage. There will be five stages of different genres.
Zane will be the MC of the main stage alongside Nomalanga Shozi.
Speaking about the different stages, he said: “A lot of people are asking about the stages. They usually host five stages: tech, piano, hip-hop and house. However, there might be a bit of a surprise that’s coming for the people. I can’t say what it is now, but I can promise that we curated a line-up and performances that meet different genres.”

Zane said the Spring Fiesta is such a tense and highly anticipated festival, and that’s why he prefers to call it a legendary festival.
“It’s because we get to show off our genres of music and showcase our spectacular cultures while doing that. And this year will be more exhilarating. We’re showing top-tier entertainment. There’ll be a lot of unforgettable memories,” he said.
“Every big South African musician will be there. I know people now expect international acts, but we are the international acts now. The main stage will be headlined by Uncle Waffles and DBN Gogo. It’s so beautiful that two very talented women will be leading the festival,” he said.
He promised that he and Nomalanga would make sure the attendees had fun.
“Nomalanga is an awesome presenter; she’s a big ball of energy, so I can’t even imagine how crazy it will be on stage. For me, my enjoyment comes from making sure other people enjoy themselves. When I’m on that stage, I’ll make sure everyone is singing along,” Zane said.
