DESPITE the constant changes on Mzansi's telenovelas and soapies, one stalwart remains unshaken.

With two decades under its belt, Scandal! celebrates a milestone of 20 years on TV.

In a statement regarding the big milestone, the team expressed gratitude to their viewers.

“One of the most recent highlights of the show was the Maseko wedding, which took place on Valentine's week and drew in a staggering 4,2 million viewers.

"The three-day event was a breathtaking affair, with the first day dedicated to the white wedding, while the second and third days were filled with traditional Sepedi wedding rituals and celebrations, showcasing beautiful colours and designs,” they said.

They said it took months of hard work to create the stunning event, with the entire cast's outfits and even the music and dance performances carefully planned and rehearsed.

“The show's production team designed and produced every garment in-house, ensuring that every detail was perfect. Only Vuvu's white dress was designed by the popular luxury couture designer Orapeleng Modutle, adding extra glamour to the event,” they said.

They said overall, the Maseko wedding was a true spectacle and a testament to the incredible talent and hard work that goes into every episode of Scandal!.
