ACTRESS Palesa Madisakwane, who is also media personality Somizi Mhlongo’s baby mama, has opened up about her love relationship with him.

She said she was already pregnant with Somizi’s child, Bahumi, when she found out about his sexuality.

Palesa revealed the news on reality show Living the Dream with Somizi.

She said she never suspected anything because there were no signs.

“In my little girl mind, I thought I had a boyfriend. I would brag about my boyfriend being part of Sarafina!. He’d come driving a Gusheshe, and didn’t act gay or seem flamboyant,” she said.

“When he turned 21, I was asked to be miss party at his birthday celebration. There was no apparent sign of him being gay,” she continued as she showed old photos of him.

She said she only found out when she fell pregnant with their daughter.

“That was when Somizi was in and out of South Africa, and things were not going well. I had also just found that he was gay and I had fallen pregnant with his child. It was the most confusing time of my life,” she said.

She said that she later approached Somizi’s family.

“I remember his mother saying: ‘My child, you can see how Somizi is. He’s not like other boys. Give us the child and go on with your life’. Bahumi was 10 months old at that time,” said Palesa.

She further accused Somizi of lying during his interviews over the years.

“What hurts me most is that whenever he did his interviews, he would say I knew he was gay. That is false. How would I have known that he was gay? Where would I have learnt about homosexuality from? I learnt about homosexuality through him.”
