TV HOST and radio presenter Anele Mdoda's production company Rose and Oaks is the brains behind an upcoming show.
The Masked Singer South Africa is set to premiere on SABC1 and SABC3 in June 2023.
The show sees media personalities, artists and politicians take to the stage singing well-known songs while wearing full-body costumes and masks to hide their identities.
Anele told Daily Sun that as the executive producer, it warms her heart to know her work will be celebrated.
The presenter said she's still over the moon as this is something she has always dreamt of.
It will feature media personality Somizi Mhlongo, comedian Skhumba Hlophe, singer J Something and DJ Sithelo Shozi as the judges. It will be hosted by comedian Mpho Popps.
"This is one of my favourite shows that I am part of. I really enjoyed working on this project as I also learnt a lot about my team as individuals," she said.

The 947 Breakfast Club host said she always makes sure everyone on her team is doing well.
"I know we work with different people, and they have their own things that are troubling them. I make sure I talk to them as a friend because if they are not well or happy, they won’t perform well," Anele said.
The presenter said she believes in teamwork and thanked her team for their incredible work on this project.
"This is something that is close to my heart. I just can't wait for another season in the future," said Anele.
She said she was born to be the light for others who are following in her footsteps.
"When I see talent, trust me, I make sure it is seen out there. I have worked closely with great people who are doing well now in the entertainment industry," Anele said.
She said after she was part of the beauty pageants Miss South Africa, she realised Mzansi has a vast amount of young talents who need to be seen or given a chance.
