MEDIA personality Somizi Mhlongo is putting a smile on families’ faces.

Somizi is visiting families that he watches on TikTok, having a good time.

On Wednesday, he visited a gogo in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni and brought her a brand new air fryer.

“I saw this boy on TikTok accompanying his gogo to buy chips. When they come back, gogo is refusing to share the chips. It’s hilarious and I loved how humble and honest this boy is. So I asked the boy to send me the street address. I visited them and gave gogo the air fryer,” said Somizi.

He shared a video on TikTok, where the gogo is seen singing in celebrating her gift.

He said that on Friday 18 March, he will visit another family in Soweto.

“Ok, this one asked for a case of beer. She wants Black Label, so that’s what I will bring her. In this case, I saw the boy teasing her mother. And I loved it. I enjoy seeing happy families,” said Somizi.

He said as an nation, people have been through a lot, so putting a smile on the faces is important.

“We need to support each other and encourage happiness. That’s very important to do as a nation. I intend to visit families once a month. I will randomly visit a family and surprise it with a gift,” said Somizi.
