THE alleged killers of the late Kaizer Chiefs defender, Luke Fleurs, remain behind bars.
They made their second appearance in the Roodepoort Magistrates Court on Friday, 19 April.
Their matter was postponed to Thursday, 25 April.
The six accused, Ndumiso Ndura Moswane (26), Fernando "Nando" Sive (25), Nhlakanipho Dlamini (21), Franky Xaba (25), Maredi Mphahlele (36), and Thembinkosi Hlanikhawu (31), appeared in court for the first time on Friday, 12 April, and remained in custody.
The matter has been moved to the trial court as they are waiting for their applications.
They were arrested in connection with the murder of the Chiefs defender.
The six accused face charges of murder with a common purpose, robbery with aggravating circumstances, possession of firearms, possession of ammunition, and defeating the ends of justice.
The state prosecutor, Linda Duma, read their matter to the magistrate during the court proceedings.
He then informed Magistrate Delise Smith that the accused would be represented by the Legal Aid team.

Smith said they had to postpone the matter as the Legal Aid representatives said they had only received their applications recently.
"I wish we could continue with this case today and look at their bail applications. But we can't, as we don't have legal aid representatives to present to you today. We will postpone it until next week Thursday. Is that okay with you?" she said.
On 12 April, Magistrate Anneline Africa said the accused could only apply for bail after seven days.
They all requested Legal Aid's services.
This after state prosecutor Arnold Limekhaya opposed their bail application.
Luke was killed during an alleged hijacking at a petrol station in Florida, Joburg, on Wednesday, 3 April.
Gauteng police arrested the six suspects on Wednesday, 10 April.
After the court appearance, the families of the accused spoke to the press regarding their arrests.
Mabaso (26), cousin to Franky, said these allegations against their family member were false.
Hlekanezitha said the car keys were also in the ignition switch where it was parked next to Slovoville Community Hall for a few days.
"They know nothing about this case. This is not fair at all."
Luke will be buried at the New Apostolic Church in Tafelsig, Western Cape, on Saturday, 20 April.
Another family member who didn't want to be named said they were all drinking when this incident happened.
She said they took the wrong people.
"Yes, they took the car next to the community hall after it had been there for days. They didn't steal it or kill anyone as they don't have guns or anything," she said.
