LeJoy is making big moves!

The Real Housewives of Joburg star and radio presenter, whose real name is Lethabo Mathatho, is a woman who always aims high.

She told Daily Sun she has always had a passion for changing young people’s lives.

Last year, she launched her academy called Making Models With LeJoy.

LeJoy from Polokwane in Limpopo said this will be her way of grooming young kids to be better leaders for tomorrow.

“The idea came about when many people especially parents from where I come from started asking me to be their kids’ role model. I had to step in as I love motivating the young ones a lot,”she said.

This influential woman from Polokwane in Limpopo said this movement is about giving young people hope and making them realise there is so much more they can bring into this world.

“Making Models With LeJoy is not about beauty but it’s about instilling hope in young talents.

“We want kids to know that they have a better tomorrow and we just need to prepare them for their future,” she said.

LeJoy said they had only 10 kids when they started the academy based in Sterpark, Polokwane.

“It wasn’t easy, but we are here as you know I love quality things. It was great for me to start small but they understand that I want great things for them,” she said.

LeJoy is planning to have another academy in Pretoria.

“I have realised that young kids are also looking for opportunities to better their lives. This is what they will need and we don’t decide on their future as some will be doctors, nurses and leaders.”

She believes her academy will help keep them away from substance abuse.

“The academy isdoing wonders. These young talents know what they want and they are going to bring change in their homes and communities,” she said.

LeJoy said they invite media personalities to come and motivate them. She said they will also be taking young men and guiding them about life principles.

“We have lots of young people who visits therapists these days and it’s worrying us. So this was just something that will show them that they are better people and they should also learn to do things on their own and stay away from social media platforms a bit,”LeJoy said.

We want to build a better society with those Academy and we are heading there.I am saying to the nation that let’s nurture these young ones so that they can bring change in our country,” she LeJoy.
