SETE hitmaker K.O is set to host his first one-man show event.

The much-awaited concert is titled K.O Live at the Hill and will take place at Constitutional Hill in Joburg on 29 July.

The rapper, whose real name is Ntokozo Mdluli, told Daily Sun that his fans can look forward to an electrifying show.

“The upcoming concert is obviously the first of its kind. I’ve never done what I am about to do with this show and people have never seen me do a one-man concert,” he said.

K.O said this is a huge opportunity for him to tell his story.

“It’s been a long time coming and I feel like it's the right time for me to start create that kind of legacy and tell my story,” he said.

The rapper said people easily forget unless you remind them.

“Some people will see that I was successful for SETE and disregard the fact that I have actually existed for almost 20 years from teargas and all those other things,” he said.

He said he wants to make sure that his story is remembered as much as possible.

“One of the ways of telling it and making sure that you remind people of your personal journey is by presenting it in a nice, memorable and exciting way and it comes in a form of this concert that we are doing.

“I am excited to see my fans there. As someone who appreciates South African music, I think I just want to make it about that,” said K.O.
