MZANSI rapper Refiloe Maele Phoolo, popularly known as Cassper Nyovest, has taken his life to God.
He has been sharing about the word of God on his social media platforms and recently got baptised.
A video of him getting baptised has been circulating on social media.
Cassper, known for his award-winning hit songs such as Tito Mboweni and Thuto, has been bold about his newfound journey.
In a video posted on Instagram, the rapper talks about his journey.
“A lot of people have been asking me why I'm quiet and what’s going on. Just to give you a summary, I went through a reset, and I realised what life is and my purpose in life and I'm not ashamed to say that my soul was washed by the blood of Jesus,” he said.
The Ever Changing Times hitmaker said he'll be unparking more as time goes on.
“I will tell you the beautiful story of my testimony of how I ended up having an encounter with God."

He said that he doesn’t hear people saying that they're excited about obeying God in the new year.
“I don’t hear people saying I'm excited seeking God’s face, which is the most important thing because we are spiritual beings and unfortunately it seems like we only see blessings as money, power and fame."
The rapper said there's another life greater than money, power and fame.
“The Bible says that seek me and everything shall be added onto you. It also says on Proverbs 8:32 that blessed are those who keep my ways. That’s what I'm praying for and that’s what I am excited for.
“I pray that God gives me His grace for me to be able to obey His word and seek His face because that comes number one in everything shall be added unto me. I don’t need a bigger house, car, I don’t need more fame, I just need to know Him,” he said.
