POWER FM field reporter Lerato Motsa displays a lot of strength and confidence.
The 42-year-old from Hammanskraal in Tshwane told Daily Sun she's been in the media industry for more than 10 years and continues to love her demanding career and getting stories on the ground.
She has also described herself as a strong, single woman who is a hustler.
"Men are coming every day, and I'm the one who makes a choice whether to date the person or not. I'm a principled woman. From a man, I need someone who is humble, who hustles like me, and is a driven person," she said.
She said a man is supposed to provide. She works hard as a woman. She wants someone who will be able to complement her.
"In the media space, I have been approached by prominent people trying their luck. At the end of the day, you need to be professional. I always stick to that and don't entertain any man who comes my way," she said.
Lerato, originally from Rustenburg in the North West, started her media career at Radio Mafisa in the North West in 2002. She said at first, she had fear of how she would carry out the interviews.

"Media is in my blood, and I'm passionate about it. I love covering riots, protests, and human-interest stories," she said.
Lerato, who is a former Kaya news reporter, has worked in print media, TV broadcasting, and radio.
The mother of two children said she loves telling stories.
She said at Power FM, she is a field reporter and a standby news anchor.
"I would love to be a news editor at a radio station and also to own a radio station," she said.
She said that she likes the working environment at Power FM.
Her message to up-and-coming media people is not to limit themselves, and they must strive to achieve better.
She said that she will always be grateful to her teachers, who gave her a good education.
