POPULAR DJ and businesswoman Miss Pru is a proud queen.

The musician, whose real name is Malesedi Prudence Sebalo, said she's proud of herself after graduating on Wednesday, October 11.

Miss Pru, who is originally from Sebokeng in the Vaal, said she can now rest in the knowledge that she has achieved what she worked hard for.

The 38-year-old musician, now based in Joburg, said she completed a postgraduate degree in business management at Mancosa in Joburg.

The Ameni hitmaker told Daily Sun that it was not an easy road, but she is grateful that she got her education.

"My journey to graduation was long. It was not easy balancing work, travel and school, but I did it. I graduated from Mancosa and the ceremony was held at Mosaik Theatro.

"I studied somatology at the University of Johannesburg, then I did a Bcom in entrepreneurship at Mancosa and recently I did my postgrad in business management at Mancosa," Miss Pru said.

The musician said she always made time for her book even though her music career demanded a lot from her.

"It was tough, especially because of all the travelling. I struggled to find a balance but eventually I got the hang of it. The best thing about music is that you can create a schedule that works for you," she said.

Miss Pru said she has learnt a lot about herself.

"My advice to young people is that they should study if they get the opportunity. It’s really worth it. There are free online courses you can do just to get a certificate. No one can take away your knowledge and skills. It’s a lifelong investment," she said.
