PJ POWERS is still going strong and dazzling music lovers.
The legendary musician, whose real name's Penelope Jane Dunlop, said she loves what she does as well as being on stage and bringing joy to people as that makes her happy.
The 63-year-old musician, originally from Durban in KZN, said seeing people smiling motivates her.
The musician, popularly known as Thandeka, has been in the music industry for 41 years. She started doing music at the age of 17 but said retiring is not on her mind at the moment as she continues giving people good music.
The Jabulani hitmaker said she will be releasing a single every two months and will release an album at the end of year next year.
"To be like me, stay real, be authentic and believe in people who have believed in you. Don't just take your career for granted. It's the most important thing," she said.
The Joburg-based musician said she'll be touring UK and Germany mid-next year.

PJ Powers said will also release her first 90-minute movie called Different Tune about her life growing up in KZN and will publish a book next year called Different Tune, which will also be about her life.
"I will not be retiring anytime soon. I'll sing until people don't want me to sing," she said.
She said music chose her and she has a busy year ahead.
"I'm PJ Powers Thandeka. I'll never forget Thandeka. That name is a great honour," she said.
She said she believes in the goodness of humankind and treating people with respect.
"I'm like a battery. I can't stop moving, dancing and being on stage. It's my pill and makes me feel the happiest," said PJ Powers.
Some of her hits include You're So Good to Me released in 1982, There is an Answer in 1986 and Home to Africa in 1985.
