FORMER Spirit of Praise singer Papane Bulwane has just re-released his old hit single before launching his second album.
The single, titled Modimo Rea Ho Boka, was released five years ago. However, now that he is making a comeback into the industry, people are demanding the song.
So, the 41-year-old from Sebokeng in the Vaal re-released it.
"I'm currently pushing Modimo Rea Ho Boka. I recorded the song with Spirit of Praise a few years ago. Then, I recently re-recorded it in Rwanda. I decided to re-release and push it again because people still love it. When I attend gigs, the fans always ask for the song. So, it's only fair that I give the fans what they want," he said.
He is working on two new albums, one by himself and another one alongside Tshepiso Mpotle. It will be a live DVD recording set to be recorded next month.

"This will be my second album. This project will have the craziness of somebody who understands the fullness of grace. No one can change the mind and heart I have for the Lord because I've seen grace. In this God's Kingdom, I've seen His hand. I'd have given up a long time ago if it were for me. God has put me in spaces I don't qualify to be in.
Papane said on the other album he'd be working with Tshepiso because their backgrounds are almost the same.
"We've gone through similar things, and we're still standing. We find ourselves in the same room where we're going through similar things, and they get sorted the same way. The music is going to be the backdrop of communities, churches and motivation for other up-and-coming artists who don't know where to go," he said.
In 2020, the musician was fighting with his former label, accusing them of not paying his royalties. Now, he said all that's in the past.
"I am now focusing on my future. Everything that happened there is sorted and done. We have a good relationship now because in life, you have to move on, and you cannot stay behind. It was a must for me to look forward and continue with my career," Papane said.
