FANS of Themba Mabaso have blessed him again.

This time, they bought the Big Brother Mzansi star, affectionately known as Themba Broly, a Mercedes-Benz SLK for his birthday.

His fans, who he calls the Ghost Nation, bought him other expensive gifts and gave him a cheque for R612 000 as well.

They’ve been giving him gifts since the show ended in March because they believe he should have won and walked away with the R2 million cash prize. The 30-year-old, who ended up coming second in the reality contest, said his fans surprised him at a birthday dinner on Saturday, 3 September.

“I was hosting an event and my fans came. When I arrived, they gave me a cheque for R612 000, 31 pairs of shoes, a cake made with R10 notes, amounting to R8 000, and the car,” he said.

“The cheque was the money they have been collecting for me since I left the show.

“I didn’t know this was going to happen. It was a surprise.”

Themba said he couldn’t really even express his feelings.

“This feels like a dream. I feel blessed and I’m also shocked when this happens.”

He thanked his fans for loving and supporting him. “I will say the same thing I always say to them. I’m grateful. I believe God sent them to me. They’re angels to me,” he said.

Themba is also in a relationship with Big Brother Mzansi winner Mpho Wabadimo, and he said things were going great. “Mpho and I are good. I love her so much.”

He said he’d be dropping a new amapiano single in the coming weeks.
