The queen was the main guest speaker at an event called UKZN in conversation with her royal highness.

In her speech, she focused on women empowerment.

“I was raised by my father, Maskolo, who taught me the importance of giving. He always told me that whatever you do will come back to you. This is the principle I still hold, even today. Women must learn to do things on their own. They must empower themselves and be independent,” she said.

She also used the opportunity to be preach against the termination of pregnancy.

“I’m a Christian and my belief is that every soul is a gift from God. My father taught me about the dangers of unprotected sex, but also told me that whatever happens after unprotected sex, is God’s doing. Therefore, I don’t believe in abortion,” she said.

She also briefly spoke about gender-based violence.

“We need men who will protect women and kids,” she said before breaking into song.
