POET Ntsiki Mazwai has picked herself up and dusted herself off.
This after she announced last month that she no longer had a podcast as she fought with the production company behind it.
But she’s now starting her own YouTube podcast called Loud.
The previous podcast, Unpopular Opinion, had already become popular on social media.

But when she announced the split from the podcast, Ntsiki said she trusted the wrong people. “Sometimes you trust the wrong people and have to accept your poor choices. I will be back with my own podcast,” wrote Ntsiki.
She told Daily Sun she was on a podcast journey before she met those people.
“I am a communicator, healer and I’ve always addressed unpopular things in the country, so my voice is not something that can be taken away from me,” said Ntsiki.
“It’s difficult to go through something like that. I did take time out to grieve, but I’m back now and I still want to be part of the healing process of this country and insert myself in being a platform for people.”
Ntsiki said she learnt to do things her way this time around and has total ownership of the podcast.
“I own it 100% and I will never, ever share or get into a partnership ever again.
“So, that part of my life is finished. I realise my own power. That podcast taught me the amount of influence I have.
“I realised that I need a technical team, not partners,” she said.
Speaking about the new podcast, she said it’ll be different from the previous one.

She officially launched it on Sunday, 11 December at AMPD Studios in Newtown, Joburg.
“The new thing is that we have a live audience, it’s more interactive with people at the venue and those online. I’m also mixing it with arts. We’ll have people performing. It’s now an event,” she said.
“I called it Loud because that’s one of the things I get called by people. I also want to breed more loud people. So, I even call my audience ‘the loud ones’ because I want to cultivate a culture of people being outspoken and be loud about.”
The podcast is set to take place monthly.
