GOSPEL star Ntokozo Mbambo has released her long-awaited studio album titled Lavish Worship.
The 18-track album was released on Tuesday, 21 March.
On the songs, Ntokozo praises God for all He has done for her.
To celebrate the release, Ntokozo will perform live at the Durban Christian Centre Jesus Dome in Durban on Friday, 24 March, and at Rhema Bible Church in Randburg, Joburg on Saturday, 25 March.
“This coming weekend will be hectic as I will be doing live performances in Durban and Joburg.
“I’m doing God's work to spread His word with the people, and I will rest later because people have longed for this album,” she said.
The Sibonga Uthando hitmaker encouraged other musicians to release their songs on digital stores.
“During Covid-19 lockdowns, it helped to have my music on digital platforms because I noticed people were streaming it and that brought in money while I was at home.
“I believe that other artists should consider going big on selling their music on digital platforms because time has changed,” she said.

She dedicates a song called Uyinkosi Yamakhosi to her late mum.
“When I sit down and think about the difficulties, there are no difficulties compared to her passing.
“The song makes me feel closer to her. This album is closer to my heart if I compare it to the other albums,” she said.
This is her first album where she is not singing alongside her husband, Nqubeko Mbatha.
The couple has been married for 15 years and has two children.
Ntokozo was part of Joyous Celebration from 2001 to 2012.
She features gospels stars such as Mabongi and Khaya Mthethwa on the album.
