MZANSI stars were over the moon as they made history.
The TV personalities and musicians made their mark as they received their first awards at the Basadi In Music Awards.
TV host Ntombee Ngcobo Mzolo, singer Nhlanhla Mafu, Khutso Theledi, Q-twins, and Lwah Ndlunkulu are among the stars who made history over the weekend.
On Saturday, 12 August, celebrities received their first-ever awards at the prestigious ceremony that took place at Joburg Theatre in Joburg.
Ntombee told Daily Sun that words couldn't describe the joy that she feels in her soul. She walked away with the Entertainment TV Show Presenter of the Year.

"I have been through a lot in the past few years, and it's a blessing to have a reason to celebrate again. I feel blessed and give all the glory to God," Ntombee said.
"I am honoured and humbled by this recognition. It's not easy to remain relevant, be consistent, and be appreciated for more than 25 years in an industry that's changing every single day. It can only be God."
The 38-year-old presenter said what she could say about this is that one should never lose hope because hard work pays off.
Nhlanhla Mafu said she is looking forward to many more, as this is her first award as a businesswoman who founded NN Vintage. The 45-year-old walked away with the CEO Mosadi in Business Achievement Award alongside Boity Thulo and Thando Thabethe.
The Qwabe Twins, made up of Virginia and Viggy (26), also shared tears on stage and said they were grateful for the love and support they received from their fans and organisers. They received the Duo/Collaboration of the Year and Most Streamed Song for their single, Sobonana.
Khutso Theledi (42) received the Entertainment Radio Presenter Of The Year award. She said this was dedicated to her family and fans, who showed her love when she started her radio career back at YFM.
