TRIBUTES pour in for Mzansi musician, Marc Rantseli.
The music producer and songwriter's death was announced on Thursday morning, 9 November.
The 56-year-old was part of the dynamic music duo called MarcAlex.
The two brothers were known for their hit Quick Quick, which reached number one in the South African music charts in June 1989.
Marc died at a Joburg hospital.
Speaking to SABC’s Morning Live, his twin brother Alex said Marc was hospitalised with a brain disease.
"He was recovering until two weeks ago when he was admitted for high blood pressure and since then there was a lot of pressure in his brain," he said.
He said when he visited him on Wednesday night, 8 November he was no longer himself.
"The signs were there that he was fine, but I felt like something was different until I got a call that he had passed away,” he said.

His death left a sad note in the hearts of music lovers all over the world and many sent their tributes on social media.
Lawrence Ndlovu wrote on his X: "I am saddened to learn of Marc Rantseli’s death. I have such fond memories of my time at MaRantseli’s house in Diepskloof. He and his brother Alex (Lexi) and their sister Eve (Vivi) were like our older siblings. My sympathy goes out to MaRantseli, her mother and the children."
Singer Timothy Moloi wrote: "I woke up this morning to the devastating news that Marc Rantseli has passed away. Two of the nicest guys in the South African music industry. MarcAlex’s music was part of the soundtrack of our lives growing up. My sincere condolences to his brother, family and friends."
