BIG Zulu has a big heart.
The rapper and songwriter, whose real name is Siyabonga Nene (38), posted a video on Instagram in which he blesses a taxi driver at a Durban taxi rank with new Carvela shoes that cost about R2 300 and above.
He later offered to pay for the taxi driver's petrol.
Big Zulu first saw the taxi with his name on it when he was travelling through Durban and asked about it because he wanted to show his gratitude to the driver.
"I think it means everything to him, including the support, that he put my name on his taxi. It means a lot to me, and I appreciate his support. The best way to thank him is to do what I can because I'm used to helping people," said Big Zulu.
