RADIO and TV presenter Mpho Putini is excited about her latest gig.
The 36-year-old spoke to Daily Sun about her new show, saying that's where her heart belongs.
Mpho hosts a show called Goodvibes Only on Saturdays from 11am to 3pm on Star FM.
She said she enjoys every moment of what she used to imagine when she was a child.
The ekurhuleni born and bred radio head is now on two radio stations.

"I also work for Radio Pulpit where I host Heart to Heart on Thursdays and Fridays from noon till 3pm, and a youth programme called 25th Cafe on Saturday evenings from 7pm until 9pm. I do Goodvibes Only on Star FM on Saturdays. I love my audience so much because I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without them," Mpho said.
She said she has always been a radio head and if she isn't behind the mic, she is on the other side listening to it.
"My late mum used to listen to the radio a lot and I became a listener of the medium at a very young age. And listening to the likes of Khabzela, Bad Boy T, Azania Mosaka, and Non Botha was very instrumental in igniting my love for radio," she said.
The presenter said at some point she left the space for a more stable job and ran straight back in no time.
"I went to Boston Media house and in my first year I interned for different media houses and I was more comfortable in the radio space. I have been on radio for more than a decade now. The medium is not easy, but I have learned to enjoy it my way. I enjoy every opportunity granted to me,” she said.
Her message to young talent is that they must never stop chasing their dreams.
"Your dreams are valid, keep pursuing them and trust that at the right time, the Lord will make them happen," She said.
