LADY luck seems to be smiling on social media content creator, Mihlali Ndamase.
The 25-year-old from Kokstad, KZN, has bagged a cameo role on Generations: The Legacy.
The role comes months after her acting debut on the Showmax movie, Boxing Day.
Mihlali’s management team at Duma Collective confirmed to Daily Sun she will join the show, but they were mum on the details of her role.
Mihlali started as a make-up artist on YouTube and her channel now has over 380 000 subscribers.
She is also a brand strategist, certified make-up artist and co-founder of Siyasizana Foundation, an NGO focused on improving the living conditions of the underprivileged.
She was also chosen as the YouTube Black Voices in 2019.

Social media users congratulated her.
Sbulelo Mgqobozi wrote: “Congratulations Mihlali. Even though the people who still watch Generations don’t even know who you are but siyakubongela nontombi.”
Lady McMame wrote: “Mihlali is living life maan. Imagine being beautiful and getting everything you want in life at that age. Some people are blessed.”
However, Bafana Surprise said: “South African entertainment industry will never grow! There is lack of creativity. They do people favours but fail to spot talent. Guys, do you wanna tell me that out of all the graduates none of them would have deserved to be on Generations the Legacy instead of Mihlali?”
Ittybitteee congratulated her and said she has worked hard for her brand.
“I get the frustration people might have, but it’s so weird when people reduce Mihlali’s work to nothing. She’s worked hard to build her brand. This is a cameo appearance and there was no way they’d offer this to an up-and-coming performer. Congratulations to her,” he wrote.
