TV host and radio presenter Lerato “LKG” Kganyago and Katlego Maboe will co-host the 2023 METRO FM Music Awards (MMAs).
The SABC said that it has considered these two talents as suitable candidates to hot the awards ceremony. The awards will be held at Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga on Saturday, 6 May.
Lerato said she's honoured to host the prestigious awards alongside the talented Katlego.
“As a longtime member of the METRO FM family with seven years of experience, and a solid background in live television and broadcasting, I understand the importance of this event and I'm confident that I'll deliver an exceptional experience to South African music fans.
"The MMAs are a true highlight of the year for music lovers, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it,” she said.

Katlego said that being chosen as the host was a dream come true for him.
“I'm looking forward to celebrating the best of South African music with all the amazing artists, producers, and fans. I can’t wait,” he said.
This year’s awards ceremony will be broadcast live at 8pm on SABC1, SABC Plus and METRO FM’s YouTube channel.

They added that their voting lines will be open as from 31 March 2023 to 30 April 2023 at midnight, except for Song of the Year which closes at 9pm on 6 May 2023.
