THE wait is over for radio listeners around the country.
Metro FM has let the cat out of the bag and released their annual line-up changes.
The changes will be effective from 3 April 2023.
Siya Mhlongo will host Command Your Day that will broadcast on Mondays to Fridays from 5am to 6am.
Sabelo Mtshali, better known as DJ Sabby, will be the new host of Metro FM Breakfast show. He'll be joined by one of Mzansi's dynamic and influential stars, Kandice "Kandice Kardash" Coulsen.
DJ Sabby is taking over from Mo Flava following his exit from the station in February 2023. The show will broadcast on weekdays from 6am to 9am.
Khutso Theledi takes over The Bridge from Mondays to Fridays, between 9am and noon, and she'll be joined by Somizi Mhlongo.
Somizi is making a comeback to the station and will contribute to the highly popular segment, Ask a Man.
The station has roped in Faith Mangope as the new host of Metro FM Talk from Monday to Thursday, between 7pm and 9pm.
The station is also set to launch its new digital offering Metro FM Off-Air, to be presented by Ayabonga Cawe and will flight once a week.
Paul Mtirara returns with the programme Let’s Talk about it. It will will broadcast from Monday to Thursday, between 9pm and 12pm. The show is about the best music and talk.
The newest addition is DJ Le Soul as she joins Ryan the DJ on The Urban Beat, on Fridays and Saturdays, from 10pm to 12pm.
The young and talented Pretty Ngwenya, fresh from Vow Radio, takes over the early weekend breakfast show The Lift on Saturdays and Sundays from 3am to 6am.

The Weekend Breakfast Sounds Good, which will be hosted by Mat Elle and Somizi every Saturday between 6am and 9am, promises to deliver the freshest in entertainment, lifestyle, sports, food and community-focused projects.
Metro FM Top 30 will be in the best hands of Khanya Siyengo “Kyeezi” every Saturday from 9am to noon.
Mpumi Mlambo will follow him between noon and 3pm, taking listeners on a musical journey with the show, The Encore.
Lulo Café, one of the best in the entertainment space, is taking over the Metro FM Lounge every Sunday between 6pm and 9pm.
The rest of the line-up remains the same.
