FALLEN heroes in the film and TV industry will be remembered at the annual Simon Mabhunu Sabela KZN Film and Television Awards.
The awards, to be held in Durban on 23 July, will have a memorial section, where late celebrities will be honoured for their contribution in developing the industry.
The KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission has called the industry to submit names of all late industry contributors who died between August 2020 and now.
The commission is the entity of the Department of Economic Development and Tourism as well as the custodian of the awards.
