MAKHADZI has been touched by Dr Malinga’s story about his downfall and battle with the South African Revenue Service (Sars).
The singer, whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona from in Limpopo, asked on social media if there was anyone who could connect him with Goodwill Malinga so he could perform at her upcoming event, Makhadzi One Woman Show. The event will be held at Makhuvha Stadium on 1 October.
On Friday, 9 September, the 25-year-old Makhadzi from Ha-Mashamba took to her timeline and wrote: “I would like Dr Malinga to come perform at my one woman show. I sent a DM for sure he didn’t see it. I really want to support him from bottom of my heart love. Anyone with management contact please DM me.”
The singer later during the day shared that she found him and also shared a poster with the singer.
Makhadzi also shared that she managed to get hold of the musician and she was going to perform with him.

The Khokhova hitmaker also vowed that she’d never exploit Dr Malinga, like many other people did.
The singer also wished God to protect South African musicians, because most of them lost their livelihood when the Covid-19 pandemic started in 2020.
“I finally got Dr Malinga. I promise to not exploit him, but to share the little I have with him. God must bless and protect us artist, as we have been going through a lot during Covid-19. We all suffered,” she said.
Many people shared that she did an incredible job by giving him a chance to be celebrated again.
“They said @podcastwithmacg is killing people’s Dreams, but all I see is wonders Everytime someone goes there. Why can’t they just say it again that Podcast is building dreams? Big ups to you @MakhadziSA you know I love you so much! This is beautiful to see,” Michael said.
Collen said he was proud of her and what she did was just so beautiful and he loved it.
ChrisExcel said this was something he loves about Makhadzi as she always gave people a chance to be celebrated from time to time.
