Little Okuhle Nkosi has won two crowns at the International Junior Miss South Africa pageant at Indaba Hotel in Sandton, north of Joburg on Saturday.
The four-year-old girl stole people’s hearts with her charity work. Little Okuhle decided to help children she’d see at the traffic lights on her way to creche. She has handed out food, clothing, blankets, toys, and made friends with the kids.
Okuhle won first places in two categories at the crowning week of the pageant. She won the charity crown and the best African hair category.
The event was held from 27 June to 2 July.
Every day of the week there were crowns awarded for different queens in different categories.
Okuhle’s mum Bongiwe Nkosi said: “The event went well. Everybody grew from this experience. People who were at the event invested in their kids in terms of character and modelling. As a mum, I felt so grateful for this opportunity. I am happy that the journey has built Okuhle’s character.”

Bongiwe said on Okuhle’s birthday, 10 January, they will be launching Okuhle N Foundation for kids with burns and Okuhle’s dolls.
“We will have a runway to launch the dolls and show how they look. This is a way for Okuhle to raise funds for the charity work she does and for kids that need education.”
She said that Okuhle would continue doing the International Junior Miss South Africa pageant as she was the youngest contestant at four years old.
