AWARD-WINNING musician Langa Mavuso (29) is on a roll this year.
He is set to open for five-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and producer Lalah Hathaway (54).
This is the third American musician he'll be opening up for. In November, he opened up for Boyz II Men and sang with Lloyiso on Tamia's show in Tshwane.
The Sunday Blues hitmaker said this opportunity humbles him and he's exceptionally honoured.
"I have always admired Miss Hathaway's incredible talents. To open her South African concerts is beyond any dream I could ever have imagined," he said.
The tour begins in Joburg at Montecasino on 19, 20 and 21 January. The Cape Town concert will be at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden on Saturday, 27 January 2024, at 7pm.
