SKEEM Saam actor Clement Maosa has done it again and helped schoolkids get ready for the school year.

The kind-hearted actor, who plays Kwaito on the SABC1 show, gave away school shoes to less fortunate pupils through his foundation, Bakgethwa Foundation.

Taking to Instagram to share, he posted pictures of himself helping the pupils wear the shoes and said the confidence the kids get when they wear the new shoes gets to him.

“It’s the confidence they have after getting new school shoes that gets me all the time. I have so much hope in our learners because I know they have so much potential to change the world,” wrote the actor.

He also shared another post, stating that changing the kids’ lives inspires him to keep on helping. He then thanked people who partnered up with him.

“Knowing that I’ve made a difference in someone’s life is what inspire me to keep doing what I do, restoring their dignity and confidence to continue schooling and not stress about grownups problem like affording things. Many thanks to my partners @hwfoundation @imbumbafoundation @caring4girls @bakgethwafoundation,” he wrote.

This is not the first time Clement gives away shoes. He does the drive often through his foundation and he also gives away groceries to the under privileged as well. He launched the foundation in 2020.

Fellow industry peers and followers have been commending the actor for his work and encouraged him to keep on helping.
