KWAITO group Alaska has lost another one of its members, Crazy Thibos.

The singer, whose real name is Thabo Tsotesi, died on Sunday, 11 September.

Fellow member Sphiwe “Picat” Sibeko confirmed the news to Daily Sun.

The group consisted of Thibos, Picat, Lucky Mlakana, Andrew Moloisane and Les Ma-Ada, who died in 2013.

Messages of condolences have been pouring in on social media with people expressing their sadness about his passing.

The Economic Freedom Fighters shared condolences to his family and friends.

“The EFF sends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the kwaito star Thabo ‘Crazy Thibos’ Tsotetsi, who was a member of Alaska. The talent he shared with South Africa will forever be cherished. May his soul rest in revolutionary and perfect peace,” they wrote.

Music boss Oskido also posted a photo of Thibos and captioned it: “Rest in power my king.”

Disco Light said he hopes Les Ma-Ada welcomes him.

“I saw a video celebrating Alaska last week and now Crazy Thibos is gone? Rest well bra yaka, hope Les Ma-Ada gives you a proper welcome,” he wrote.
