This is Lalela’s second international pageant. She went to Miss Universe last year where she didn’t make it far.

Now, she was chosen to represent the country again on this pageant, even though despite the fact that people were expecting Miss SA 2021 first runner-up Moratwe Masima to go.

Speaking about Lalela going to the pageant, Miss SA Organisation CEO, Stephanie Weil said they were excited about this year’s edition of Miss Supranational.

“We once again call on South Africans to show their support, and we believe she will make us all proud,” she said.
