RISING comedian James "Chomi Ya Jeso" Mahlokwane from Ivory Park in Ekurhuleni is fast becoming the go-to guy for promoters around Mzansi.

Having already made history in 2019 by becoming the first vernac comedian to win the Best Newcomer Award at the Savanna Comics Choice Awards, he has been nominated twice for the country's Best Vernac/Non-English Award.
