MZANSI groovists and music lovers are always spoiled for choice when it comes festivals.
But the same can't be said for gospel lovers, whose festival are few and far between.
Now gospel artist Thulani Gah Ndlela has organised a six-to-six festival to get gospel lovers, particularly those who enjoy itende music, singing and dancing all night to the sounds of gospel piano.
Itende Gospel Music Festival will be held at The Station Urban Events Space in Durban, KZN on Friday, 3 November.
Top gospel musicians such as Thobekile Sdudla seTheku, PS Sebeh Nzuza, Sphelele Shazi and Sbu Shange will share the stage.

Gah told Daily Sun the event was aimed at putting itende gospel musicians in the spotlight and celebrating their music.
“We want to show people that there are many musicians that are singing itende music because many people think that is only Thobekile Sdudla seTheku and Hlengiwe Mhlaba. This type of music was popular in the tent churches, but now many churches who are worshipping play gospel piano,” he said.
Gah said the performance would be 100% pure itende music.
“The itende gospel style will characterise their performance with no guitars, no drums but a piano for itende music. Itende music was known as the only genre for tent churches, but of late, it has become popular because many gospel musicians have also joined,” he said.
The event will start on Friday, 3 October at 6pm and will finish on Saturday, 4 October.
