TALENTED actor Lihle Namba believes that when opportunities don't knock, you can create your own doors and invite others inside.
This is after he tried to get a role on various Mzansi TV series for years, but doors were not opening for him.
Lihle played cameo roles on e.tv telenovelas Imbewu: The Seed and Durban Gen, which have both been cancelled.
The 27-year-old from Dorringkop Village in KZN has decided to launch his casting agency, Inamba Casting Agency.
He told Daily Sun that the main aim is to help other aspiring actors to realise their long-cherished dreams of becoming professional performing artists.
“The little I have earned from being featured on Imbewu: The Seed and Durban Gen led me to establish my agency to help others. My painful experience growing up back home forced me to establish this agency because I think now I know the dynamics and politics of the industry,” he said.

He said he is glad to have helped place emerging actors in international series like 1923, The Spear, documentaries such as London Recruit, and South African productions like Reyka, Umkhokha: The Curse and Uzalo.
Among the actors he's helped in securing roles is Smilo Sokhela, who plays a supporting lead character in the Mzansi Magic movie Grade 13 and features in Umkhokha: The Curse.
Lihle has also contributed to the careers of Welcome Msweli, Phumzile Mthethwa, Nozipho Shembe and Lungi Ntshingila.
He said he is a great admirer of the late actor, executive producer, and co-founder of Ferguson Films, Shona Ferguson.
Lihle said he grew up under hardships with his parents struggling to find jobs. He said he had to work on sugarcane fields and harvest tomatoes, but he remained determined to pursue his dream of earning a living in the entertainment industry.
“I always had my heart on making it on TV as an actor or director, but it is not an easy journey,” he said.
