EVEN though music is his first love, he has other big dreams and one of them is making money.
Musician Musa Sukwene said he has taken a break from music and is now focusing on his farms.
The 36-year-old from Witbank, Emalahleni, told Daily Sun that he is not recording music at the moment.
Musa rose to fame after winning the South African singing competition Idols in 2013.
He then released a hit song called Mthande.
"This break is just to regroup and try to look at things from a new perspective. I'm still performing but most importantly I need time to clear my head," Musa said.
He said he's working on some farm projects.
"I'm running my farms, and it's beautiful. I chose farming because they're economical,” he said.
He said he's working on three different farms.
"One of them I don’t talk about and then I have a goat and cotton farm. I've been running the farm for four years now and it's beautiful," he said.

He said he never focused on fame.
He said he never changed after becoming famous.
"Fame is not the real prize for me. It's probably the hardest drug in life and I try to avoid it," he said.
Musa said the price is music.
"I just want to make great music and make the world sing," he said.
