DONALD Moatshe is known for always using a red microphone when he performs.

But the famous microphone was recently stolen from his car by thugs!

The award-winning singer and songwriter desperately wants his microphone back and is offering a reward for information leading to it.

He wrote on Instagram: “My red mic has been stolen. Anyone can reach me via direct messaging with any information. I would really appreciate it. It was in a grey case with a receiver inside.”

The Denial singer also posted a video to Instagram on Monday, 14 March, explaining exactly what happened.

“I have bad news. Someone broke into my car and took the case that had my red mic in it. I don’t know what they are going to do with it because you can’t really sell it.”

The singer said he would be opening a case with the police soon.

“If anyone has any information, please send me a direct message and give me all the information. Whoever can help, I’m going to organise a reward for anyone who comes with any sort of information that could help us. I am opening a case of theft,” he said.

The SunTeam contacted the singer for comment but he didn’t respond to messages or answer his phone.

His manager Nolwazi Zondo said he was not interested in talking about the matter beyond what he had already shared on social media.
