GOSPEL singer and songwriter, Dr Kenny Makweng, is still in hospital after he suffered a stroke.
This after his family and production company, Kennymak Productions, announced on Thursday, 4 January that the musician had suffered a stroke.
According to his team, the 52-year-old star from Dennilton in Limpopo is still not doing well and can only be visited by his family at this stage.
On Monday, 8 January they shared a statement again to update his fans about his health.

"The Makweng family has asked Kennymak Productions to announce on their behalf that they are aware that Dr Kenny Makweng was a brother and a friend to all and he was also close to a lot of people. The family is also aware and understands that a lot of people are highly affected since hearing that Makweng is in hospital," read the statement.
"The family also understands that a lot of people would like to give Dr Kenny Makweng support by paying him a visit in hospital. That would have been appreciated. However, at the moment Dr Kenny Makweng is in a state where only family members are allowed to see him and the public's cooperation will mean a lot to the family."
The family also asked for prayers as the main form of support.
"The moment Dr Kenny Makweng is in a better state, people will get an opportunity to see him. People are requested to comply and co-operate. Members of the public including his friends will be informed about the visit as soon as there are developments," further read the statement.
When the SunTeam contacted Lawrence Lesiba Mashiatshidi from Kennymak Productions, he didn't want to comment on the matter.
Dr Kenny is best known for songs such as Ka La Ntate and Lengeloi Laka.
