FORMER president Jacob Zuma showed up to support former Ukhozi FM presenter, Ngizwe Mchunu as he is appeared in the Randburg Magistrates Court on Friday, 3 November.
His support paid off as Ngizwe was acquitted on all charges.
Zuma had arrived with his allies, including former ANC spokesman Carl Neihaus, to show support to Ngizwe for his July Unrest incitement case.
Mchunu, a 40-year-old presenter from KZN, had been shuttling to Joburg since 2021, with his case facing multiple postponements.
Zuma came out to rally behind him ahead of his judgment.
Before Ngizwe was acquitted on all charges, he said he was confident that he would win this case because he had done nothing wrong and the state was just wasting its resources.

"I don't know why they dragged this matter for so long. This could have been avoided a long time ago," said Ngizwe.
"I didn't do anything wrong, and they know that. They must just let me go as they have nothing against me," he said.
The presenter had said he would be happy to walk free and start over again as he just wanted to have his life again.
His case dates back to July 2021 during protests that erupted in response to the arrest of Zuma.
The unrests resulted in the loss of lives and livelihoods, with looting and destruction of shops and malls.
Ngizwe was facing three counts of incitement to commit public violence, failure to comply with or contravention of the regulations in respect of the restriction on the movement of persons and convene a gathering, contravening a prohibition, hindering, interfere with, or obstructing a law enforcement officer in the exercise of his or her powers or performance of his or her duties.
He had pleaded not guilty to all the charges, telling the media he felt like he was tortured for what the state knew was right.
