Kagiso together with and 1 Africa Radio TV Foundation will be hosting a charity event in April.
Their aim is to bring together different charity homes and provide support for the needy.
She said she has been with the foundation more than a year.
“The foundation is a dynamic multimedia platform dedicated to showcasing the vibrant spirit of the modern African youth, unencumbered by past constraints. “We also serve as a platform for small scale and medium enterprises (SSMEs) and larger corporations to reach a worldwide audience, fostering growth and visibility.
"The purpose of the foundation is to showcase Africa's stories, culture and talent, and telling the African story because we're a Pan African radio,” said Kagiso, who plays a cop on Magaeng.
She said acting opened doors for her in the entertainment industry.
The actress said she has enjoyed meeting people in the industry.
“Highlights of my career has to be given the opportunity to perform with legends who were willing enough to share their knowledge and experience,” she said.
Kagiso said aspiring actors should pursue the career for passion and not fame.
“The only thing I'd change in the industry is to enforce passion when committing yourself to portraying the role, love the craft not just because of fame but because you're a storyteller,” she said.
