TS GALAXY star Thamsanqa Gabuza will be back in court in March.
This after the 36-year-old footballer made a brief appearance in the Alexandra Magistrates Court on Thursday, 15 February.
He'll reappear on Thursday, 28 March. His case was remanded for further investigation and to obtain damage reports. He was found guilty for malicious damage to property in November 2023.
The Joburg-based footballer missed his court appearance on Monday, 29 January as he was sick. The complainant, Zikhona Zode, was not in court.
During the court proceedings Magistrate Bulelani Mbeleni told his defence lawyer Themba Ngobeni that he accepts the medical certificate presented before court.
"We accept this letter about his last month of missing the court. We'd also like to cancel the warrant of arrest that was given out to him," Mbeleni said.
He said it was unfortunate that the recording machine wasn't working hence the postponement to next month.

Representing the state, Prosecutor Tshiego Deka said she wasn't against the ruling. She said they've also seen the doctor's letter.
"We also welcome today's ruling, as the state. The matter is postponed for further investigation," she said.
On 11 November, the police investigated the player after a case was opened against him for malicious damage to property.
Last month, when the SunTeam approached Zikhona for comments before court, she said she didn't want to say anything about this matter.
"No comments, at all. I don't have anything to say now but thank you," she said.
The 31-year-old woman, who is an online teacher, previously spoke to Daily Sun about her ordeal.
She said she met Gabuza in 2021 and they became friends before trying out a romantic relationship, which never worked out. Gabuza, on the other hand, claimed Zikhona was his wife.
