ACTRESS and fashion designer Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa has shared on social media that she will be offering bursaries to women who have been abused.
Taking to Instagram, she announced that she would be offering bursaries to two women from an abusive background.
“About 65% of abused women go back to their abuser due to lack of financial support or independence. Abusers know this. We at @enhlecares_foundation_ are working towards bridging that gap, slowly but surely. We’re giving away two nail bursaries for you to create a life for yourself. Tell us your story via @enhlecares_foundation_ DMs. We will let you know once the selection process is completed. #Wearedelicateflowers. Upwards and onwards,” she posted.

The 34-year-old will be giving out these bursaries with the help of her foundation, launched in 2018 – the same year she made an outfit for Beyonce Knowles.
The Enhle Cares Foundation targets girls and young women in disadvantaged communities, with the goal to identify gaps in service provision and through collaborative work, offering solutions to specific issues.
To date, there has been a drive to provide respite activities for girls who were primary caregivers for family members affected by HIV/Aids, disability or old age. The foundation also has a strong focus on addressing sexism.
In 2015, Mbali launched maternity wear range SE Preggoz in Mzansi and New York.
Enhle told Daily Sun that when she launched her foundation her misson was to assist women and children who have been abused.
"When Enhle care launched in 2018 at Thatha Madibas home alongside global citizen and the Mandela family, our mission has always been to assit women and children from abused backgrounds and we are still standing form in that mission as you can see with the journey we are still striving towards," she said.
she also mentioned the bursaries will vary with times as the candidates will go from skilled workers to higher certificates.
"All women are eligible for groceries, depending on the skill base and what they're interested in doing, taking this one step at a time and reach a positive end goal," she concluded.
