MORE celebrities are following the path of God lately.
Last year, celebrities such as Candice Modiselle and Ntobeko Sishi publicly announced that they were baptised. Taking to Instagram, they both spoke about their journey as new creations.
Candice previously told Daily Sun that a lot of them attend church out of obligation and instruction as children.
“That’s not to say that I was never a praying girl. Now that I’m old and wise enough to understand the responsibility I have in this world, I was intentional to say I am living in Christ. I’m rebirthed and I walk in the form that He has called me to," she said.
Recently, rapper Cassper Nyovest publicly spoke about his new journey and he also got baptised. Now DJ Tira’s wife, Gugu Khathi also got baptised.
She also took to Instagram to announce the start of her new journey with the Lord.

She shared a video of herself getting baptised in a pool, which was captioned with a prayer.
“Lord, thank you for the precious gift of baptism, that we can publicly declare our love and passion for you. Lord, I ask for your goodness and blessings to be poured out on to me as your faithful servant,” she wrote.
“We pray that you would work deeply within my heart and soul to renew and refresh me each day and all my days on earth. Thank you for protecting us from all serpents, scorpions and snakes and all satanic spirits in forms of humans constantly attacking us wolfs in sheep skin."
She continued: “And this year (January 2024) I declare I am and have been your faithful servant that the devil can forget about me and my family whatever ties or stronghold he thinks he has on us in Jesus mighty name the Nazareen. All witches or wizards and demons have been exposed. I thank you Lord. I proclaim the Blood of Jesus and nothing else in case the devil is confused THERE IS ONLY 1 KINGDOM.”
Daily Sun tried to get comment from Gugu, but her phone rang unanswered and she hadn't responded to messages sent to her by the time of publishing.
