DJ LeSoul makes a surprise comeback to radio after unexpectedly leaving Gagasi FM in 2022.

She was recently announced in the the new Metro FM line-up. DJ LeSoul will be joining Ryan the DJ on Fridays and Saturdays at 10pm on The Urban Beat show.

The DJ, whose real name is Nonkululeko Mdlalose from KwaMashu in KZN, said she's happy to be part of the Metro FM family.

“This opportunity in the radio industry means a lot to me. It is the beginning of many good things that will happen in my life this year.

“We will deliver the best music and features on The Urban Beat. What I like the most about Metro FM is that they have no problem with my work as a DJ.

“They have promised that they'll provide me with a mobile broadcast studio where I can do my broadcasts for my show when I'm booked in other places,” she said.

LeSoul is the second Gagasi FM presenter to be snatched by Metro. 

The DJ began her career as a radio presenter in 2011 at community radio station Vibe FM in KwaMashu  before joining Gagasi in 2014.

She said that all the struggles and difficulties she experinced have prepared her to be the best radio DJ for Metro FM.
