MZANSI was shocked to learn that veteran musician and producer Chicco Sello Twala confirmed he's DJ Lamiez Holworthy's biological father.
This is after the news made headlines on several online publications.
The whole thing started when the popular club DJ and Metro FM presenter posted a series of photos from her son’s baptism.
In the photos she shared the special moment she had with her friends and family on the day and one of the photos included that of her and Chicco.
Chicco has produced many hit singles for well-known artists in the country, including the late gospel singer Nkosana Kodi and late music icon Brenda Fassie.
In the 1970s, he played in soul bands including Umoja and Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse's Harari, as well as forming his own band.
Lamiez who is married to rapper Khuli Chana is also a star in her own right.

When Daily Sun called her to confirm the online reports that Chicco was indeed her biological dad, Lamiez said she didn’t see the news being newsworthy.
“The world is going through serious problems. There are people dying every day. People are suffering. I don’t see how this is newsworthy,” she said.
“The country is literally fighting against Israel. Focus more on that. Elections are coming up. Write about how people are contemplating on who they should vote for. This is not newsworthy, my love. I'm sorry, it’s something I refuse to comment on.”
When Daily Sun called Chicco's number, it rang unanswered until it went straight to voicemail.
