DJ HLO has proven yet again she’s not shaken by the negative comments she’s been getting since she won the Ukhozi FM 2021 Song of The Year for Isibani.

This is after she took her desire to win again this year to another level.

DJ Hlo is running a competition where she has asked music fans to vote for her new song, Visa, to secure a place in the Ukhozi FM Top 10.

The winner will be in the music video with her.

She wrote on Facebook: “Win Big With DJ Hlo. SMS ‘Ingoma DJ Hlo Visa’ to 33665 as many times as you can and stand a chance to be on DJ Hlo’s music video alongside Lady Du, Mfana Kah Gogo, Treeq and other stars. That is what I call priceless! Kulindweni kanti.”

DJ Hlo’s competition ends today, 29 November.

Explaining about the competition, she said she is not bribing music fans into voting for her, but her aim is to give back to her supporters.

“I don’t want them to vote for me and get nothing. I don’t want anyone to take this in a negative way. I’m running this competition to show appreciation to my fans,” said DJ Hlo, whose real name is Hlosiwe Mthalane.

She said she knows that people will vote for her because they have heard her song.

“Not everyone who talks negatively about me hates me. You know, those people love me so much. They talk about me because of the love they have for me. I know they will vote for me and they will get something in return,” said DJ Hlo.
