AFTER much anticipation, the proudly South African film Dark Beauty is playing at cinemas from Friday, 23 June.
This breathtaking movie is a must-watch, especially this Youth Month.
The movie stars Tinah Mnumzana, Sibongiseni Shezi, and other famous actors who stepped up their game to impress.
Dark Beauty was selected at the Silicon Valley film festival in California, USA, and in Sotambe, Zambia, for best feature in 2022.
The highly entertaining movie is recommended for the whole family as it aims to educate.
Film producer Nompumelelo Nkabinde said: “Dark Beauty is a proudly South African film designed to empower our youth, build families and inspire the nation.
"We encourage every family to watch this highly entertaining drama."
The film is directed by Germain Atabe, best known as a screenwriter.
Atabe has vast experience and in 2022, he was nominated as best director for Dark Beauty.
He is also a writer and director for the popular sitcom, Mzamo.

Njabulo Media is the production company that brought the film to life.
Putting together the cast and crew was another task, as the film was self-funded.
“By God's grace, we shot the entire film within two months. Postproduction took a few months than anticipated as we faced challenges," Nompumelelo said.
The film is screening at Ster-Kinekor Cinemas in Maponya Mall, Mall of North at Carnival and Sterland, Cine Center Cinemas, SunCoast in Durban, Killarney Mall in Joburg, as well as Century Cinemax Cinemas in Northgate Mall.
